Are you an Orthopedic Surgeon with a strong background in trauma looking for an exciting opportunity in Illinois? Austin Major Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team for Locum Tenens coverage.

Job Information:

Typical Shift: The locum provider will be on call independently, but our group boasts a team of 12 skilled surgeons who are available for consultation and will be in the operating room on weekdays for elective cases when the locum provider is present.

Procedures Required: You will be handling Level 1 Trauma cases, primarily involving fractures, including complex cases such as acetabular and pelvic fractures, as well as hand trauma (excluding micro cases).

Patient Mix: 100% adults

EMR: EPIC

Time to Credential: 45-60 days

# Shifts/Month: 3-5

Schedule Information:

  • Shifts are from 7 am to 7 am, with pager call responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Active Illinois Medical License
  • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Minimum Years’ Experience: 0-1
