Near Newark, Jersey

This practice is not affiliated with private equity.
This is a permanent positions – not locums.

Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports
Position open due to growth of the organization
Monday through Friday
No weekends
No Call

Majority of their procedures are done at their two ASCs – both have MIS
Larger procedures (surgical etc) are done in hospital if an overnight stay is required
Payor mix is 85% commercial insurance
500k+ Base salary and production
Tiered bonus structure base on collections
History of first year earnings over 1 million
Partnership potential after 2 years
Option to buy into the ASC
They are majority owners and management of both ASCs

Job Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of orthopaedic surgeries, including joint replacements, arthroscopy, spinal surgery, and traumatic injury surgery
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into account their specific medical histories and conditions
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, keeping them informed and involved in their care
Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and discharge summaries
Stay current with the latest developments and advancements in orthopaedic surgery and related fields through ongoing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Successful Completion of Residency; Board Certified or Board Eligible
Successful completion of a Sports Medicine fellowship

Working Hours

Monday through Friday
No weekends
