Join a physician-led orthopedic group known for its collaborative environment, strong referral base, and robust procedural volume. This is a high-demand Sports Medicine opportunity with partner track, ancillary income, and a balanced schedule. Ideal for an orthopedic surgeon seeking a mix of clinic, ASC, and hospital-based work.


Practice Overview

  • You'll join a team of 4 orthopedic surgeons and 1 foot & ankle specialist with subspecialty support in spine, hand, and total joint
  • Practice-owned ASC, walk-in ortho clinic, onsite MRI, and therapy services all located in the main clinic
  • Dedicated APP support; incoming surgeon may have their own PA/NP for clinic and OR coverage
  • Mix of sports-focused procedures including arthroscopic shoulder, knee, and hip, with access to both ASC and hospital ORs

Schedule

  • See approx. 20 patients/day with a mix of clinic and OR time
  • 1:5 call, moving to 1:6 in 2026; call burden typically includes 2 calls/week and 1-2 surgeries (mostly hip fractures)
  • OR time split between efficient ASC (on-site, overnight capabilities) and affiliated hospital (Level III trauma)
  • Weekly sports surgical volume of 5-8

Compensation & Benefits

  • First-year salary of $400,000 with sign-on bonus
  • Partnership after Year 1 with low buy-in; surgeons keep all collections
  • Ancillary income examples: ~$400K from EMR/therapy and ~$1M from surgical profits
  • Benefits include 100% paid health insurance, 4 weeks PTO + 9 holidays, 401k with 10% match, malpractice with tail, and $2,500 CME

Candidate Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon
  • Comfortable with a broad arthroscopic case mix, including ACLs, labral repairs, and sports trauma
  • Open to growth, teamwork, and community engagement
