Job Description

A Brookfield based client is seeking an experienced Sports Medicine Physician

to provide excellent orthopedic care services to patients of all ages. This position affiliates with a level two trauma center hospital. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative provider who is interested in the opportunity to be part of a partnership.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current Connecticut state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified or eligible
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of orthopedic conditions in patients of all ages
  • Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
  • Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
