Ortho Spine Surgeon opening - Conway, SC 10 miles from Myrtle Beach Position Details:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Standard office hours (Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm)
  • Protected administrative time (4 hours per week)
  • Call Schedule: Shared call with other orthopedic surgeons, approximately 1:8 to 1:9 rotation for ED call- Clinic Call is 1:6
  • Support Staff: Dedicated orthopedic nurse, PAs, and experienced surgical teams
  • Cerner EMR
Patient Volume and Census: Average Patient Volume: 17-20 patients per day Demographics: Primarily adult patients with a range of orthopedic issues, focusing on those requiring joint replacement surgeries Visit Types and Procedures: Visit types: Initial consultations, pre-operative planning, post-operative follow-ups, and management of chronic joint pain and arthritis Benefits: Sign-on Bonus: $40-50k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition. Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses up to 90% MGMA over base salary Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match. Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for loan repayment assistance through the PSLF program, helping to manage and reduce student debt.
