Physician - Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
SCHEDULE:

COMPENSATION:
- $900k+ Annual Earning Potential

Odessa, Texas
COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice operates multiple offices in West Texas, specializing in pain and injury treatment, sports medicine, orthopedic surgeries, cartilage replacement, and more. Their dedicated team of physicians and physician assistants are experts in the treatment and care of the musculoskeletal system and they are currently seeking a new spine surgeon due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new spine surgeon will see patients in an office and surgery center in Odessa. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- perform surgical procedures in the treatment of injuries
- consult with patients to determine appropriate courses of treatment
- examine patients while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests
- obtain information on medical conditions to determine diagnosis
- provide consultation and comprehensive management of patients
- monitor patients’ conditions and progress
- reevaluate patients’ conditions and progress as necessary
- support appropriate referrals
The full details of the position are negotiable and will be collaboratively decided between the practice and the surgeon.
While the practice is open to surgeons who exclusively do spine, they are unable to offer full-time for spine-only. They can offer more volume to surgeons who also do interventional pain and general orthopedic surgeries.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Texas medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship, Spine Surgery
- ability to do general orthopedic and/or interventional pain surgeries a plus
