Outpatient private clinic in Upstate South Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with Spine or Neuro Surgery experience. This role is primarily clinic-based with no operative responsibilities. The practice sees a high volume of patients with spine-related injuries and conditions, with most cases being non-surgical. The position offers a very flexible schedule and strong multidisciplinary support.
Job Responsibilities
Perform in-office procedures as appropriate, such as epidurals, facet injections, cortisone injections, and joint injections.
Conduct thorough orthopedic and spine evaluations, including whiplash and fracture workups.
Collaborate with a team including PAs, NPs, physiatrist, pain anesthesiologist, sports medicine physician, and foot & ankle specialist.
Work up patients for potential surgical needs (but no surgical procedures are required).
Qualifications
South Carolina medical license required (North Carolina license preferred).
Must carry active malpractice insurance.
Comfortable practicing in a primarily non-surgical, outpatient setting.
Working Hours
~4 shifts per month.
Ongoing contract.
Skills
Proficiency in performing injections (epidural, facet, cortisone, joint).
Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills.
Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinic setting.
