UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Oncologist to join its expanding Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. This clinical faculty position offers a busy, diverse orthopaedic oncology practice across our academic medical center and affiliated hospitals.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume surgical oncology practice while contributing to resident and fellow education in one of the nation’s top academic health systems. This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your career in a clinically focused academic role.

Job Responsibilities

Comprehensive orthopaedic oncology practice including diagnosis and surgical management of musculoskeletal tumors, bone and soft tissue sarcomas, and metastatic disease.

Predominantly clinical role with direct patient care and operative responsibilities.

Opportunities to teach and mentor orthopaedic surgery residents and fellows.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and radiology.

Access to advanced surgical technology, specialized oncology resources, and academic support.

Faculty appointment at UT Southwestern Medical Center (rank commensurate with experience and qualifications).

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Oncology.

Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Eligible for Texas medical licensure.

Strong commitment to clinical excellence, multidisciplinary care, and medical education.
