TheLucidPhysician, in collaboration with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a Hand Fellowship–trained, board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the Department of Orthopaedics as a full-time faculty member at the Associate Professor of Clinical rank. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and a strong interest in a high-volume clinical practice focused on hand, wrist, and elbow surgery.
Primary Responsibilities
- Active participation in the clinical and surgical care of hand patients, including Level I trauma center on-call coverage
- Teaching, training, and supervision of orthopaedic residents, hand surgery fellows, and medical students
- Development of and participation in ongoing clinical research initiatives within the Department of Orthopaedics
- Service on appropriate Departmental and School of Medicine committees
- Participation in relevant Departmental and hospital administrative activities
