Job Title: Hand Orthopedic Surgeon (MD/DO)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hand Orthopedic Surgeon to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremity. The surgeon will provide both surgical and non-surgical care for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage disorders of the hand, wrist, and upper extremity, including trauma, degenerative conditions, nerve injuries, and congenital abnormalities.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing operative and non-operative approaches.

  • Perform hand and upper extremity surgical procedures, including reconstructive, trauma, and elective surgeries.

  • Provide post-operative care and coordinate rehabilitation with physical and occupational therapy teams.

  • Educate patients on treatment options, recovery expectations, and injury prevention.

  • Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure comprehensive care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of an accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery.

  • Fellowship training in Hand Surgery.

  • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery and Hand Surgery.

  • Active medical license to practice in the state of employment.

  • Strong surgical skills, clinical judgment, and communication abilities.
