A full-time Orthopedic Surgeon is needed to join a high-performing Orthopedics & Sports Medicine team in a hospital-based practice nestled in the scenic heart of New England.
This role is perfect for a generalist with subspecialty interest in hand or foot & ankle surgery, ready to enjoy cutting-edge technology and a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
What You’ll Do:
✔️ Provide comprehensive orthopedic care with an emphasis in hand or foot & ankle surgery
✔️ Treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions (multi-trauma cases referred out)
✔️ Perform surgeries in brand-new orthopedic-dedicated OR suites equipped with MAKO robotic technology
✔️ Enjoy a steady outpatient caseload of 25+ patients/day
✔️ Participate in a 1:4 general ortho call rotation (weekday first-call by PA, MD backup)
✔️ Work alongside 3 experienced surgeons and 4 dedicated PAs
✔️ Access dedicated OR block time and Cerner EMR

What You’ll Need:
✅ Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS)
✅ Active Vermont license or in process
✅ DEA, BLS, and CPR certification (prior to start – no exceptions)
✅ Clean malpractice history – required
✅ Subspecialty certification in Hand or Foot & Ankle – highly preferred
✅ Must provide date of residency/fellowship completion if Board Eligible
