Job description A facility in Idaho is seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to provide 24-hour call coverage. Emergency privileges are available, and the client is open to providers who require a new Idaho license. Call coverage includes 2 hours of gratis per day; callback pay begins after the first 2 hours.

Job Responsibilities

Provide on-call orthopedic hand surgery coverage.

Manage emergency consults and perform surgical interventions as required.

Collaborate with ED and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Complete all patient documentation per hospital standards.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with Hand training.

Idaho medical license (or willingness to obtain – client will wait).

Experience with emergency and trauma call coverage.

Current DEA and required life certifications (BLS/ACLS).

Working Hours

24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM).

2 hours of gratis call per day; callback pay applies after gratis hours.
