Orthopaedic Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon Opportunity โ€“ Michigan

A leading healthcare system in central Michigan is seeking a highly motivated Orthopaedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join a well-established and collaborative practice. Position Highlights:

  • Specialize in upper extremity care from elbow to fingertips

  • Diagnose, treat, and surgically repair conditions of the elbow, wrist, hand, and forearm

  • Perform a broad range of surgical procedures with both pre- and post-operative care

  • Join a large, multidisciplinary team including orthopedic surgeons, trauma, sports medicine, pediatrics, hand (plastic), and podiatry specialists

  • General orthopedic call ~4 times per month

  • Practice in a collaborative, academic-affiliated environment

  • Access to Stryker MAKO robotic technology for advanced procedures

  • Utilize EPIC EMR for seamless patient care

  • Opportunities for teaching and ongoing professional development

Candidate Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0โ€“5 years of fellowship) in Orthopaedic Surgery โ€“ ABOS only

  • Fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Surgery โ€“ Upper Extremities โ€“ Required

  • 2+ years of experience in Orthopaedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery โ€“ Preferred

  • Active Michigan license or willingness to obtain โ€“ Highly Preferred

  • Open to H-1B candidates

  • Not accepting J-1 visa waivers or Locums candidates
