Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Hand/Upper Extremity surgery to join an established and collaborative orthopedic group in Michigan. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering access to advanced surgical tools, a supportive team environment, and strong professional development.
Position Highlights:

Focus on diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of conditions affecting the elbow, wrist, hand, and forearm

Join a team of 10 orthopedic surgeons with subspecialty support in trauma, sports, pediatrics, plastic hand surgery, and podiatry

Perform a wide range of upper extremity surgical procedures with full pre- and post-operative support

General ortho call responsibilities: approximately 4 calls per month

Collaborative, physician-led environment with focus on patient-centered care

EPIC EMR system for efficient patient documentation

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0–5 years of fellowship) by ABOS – Required

Fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Surgery – Upper Extremities – Required

Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain – Highly Preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in Orthopaedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgery – Preferred

Open to H-1B visa holders (no J-1 waivers)
