Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgery Opportunity in Rock Springs, Wyoming


Join an established orthopedic team serving a broad regional patient base in Southwest Wyoming. This opportunity is ideal for an Orthopedic Surgeon with Foot & Ankle fellowship training who wants a balanced mix of specialty procedures and general orthopedic volume. You'll practice in a community-centered hospital environment where surgical access, manageable patient volumes, and lifestyle flexibility support long-term career satisfaction.


Practice Overview

  • You'll join a growing orthopedic program alongside two experienced surgeons within a respected regional community hospital
  • Mix of foot & ankle specialty procedures with additional general orthopedic cases depending on your interests and training
  • Access to dedicated OR time with surgical robotics including both Mako and Da Vinci systems
  • Clinic features nine exam rooms and procedure space with average patient volumes around 16 per day


Schedule

  • Monday-Friday practice schedule with structured clinic and surgical workflow
  • One full day of blocked OR time each week for surgical cases
  • One hour of administrative time built into each day


Compensation & Benefits

  • MGMA-based base salary for a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon
  • Up to $90,000 in student loan repayment over three years
  • Six weeks PTO, CME allowance, malpractice with tail coverage, and 401(k) with 7% match plus full health benefits


Candidate Requirements

  • Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Foot & Ankle Surgery preferred
  • Comfortable performing a range of orthopedic procedures in both clinic and surgical settings
  • Interest in serving a regional patient population and building long-term patient relationships
