Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgery Opportunity in Texas

This is a rare chance to step into a high-volume foot and ankle practice with a clear path to partnership and long-term ownership. You'll join an established private group known for complex ankle reconstruction and advanced elective procedures. The role is ideal for a surgeon seeking autonomy, surgical volume, and meaningful equity upside.


Practice Overview

  • You'll join a 28-physician private orthopedic group supported by 16 advanced practice providers
  • Foot and ankle service line serves as the primary referral destination for complex ankle reconstruction, including total ankle replacement
  • Consistent demand with capacity for growth as senior surgeons transition toward retirement
  • Multispecialty collaboration across sports medicine, joint reconstruction, spine, trauma, and pain management


Schedule

  • Balanced schedule with approximately 2.5 days in clinic and 2.5 days in the OR
  • Opportunity to increase surgical block time based on interest and volume
  • In-house ASC access plus privileges at local hospitals
  • Shared call model with ~3 days/month of group call and limited trauma call supported by a traumatologist


Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed base salary with collections-based bonuses
  • Partnership track available after one year
  • Profit distributions and additional income through ownership in a local spine and joint hospital
  • Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and fellowship stipend available


Candidate Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon
  • ABOS board-certified or board-eligible
  • Comfortable managing complex ankle reconstruction and elective foot and ankle procedures
  • Interest in long-term practice growth and partnership
