Experienced Orthopedic/Hand Surgeon with Piedmont Athens, Georgia

Piedmont Athens Regional is currently recruiting a board-certified/fellowship trained hand and upper extremity orthopedic surgeon for our orthopedic program in Athens, Georgia. This is a great opportunity to join a nationally recognized healthcare system.

The ideal candidate will be board certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in hand orthopedic surgery. The physician must also possess the skill set to perform routine general orthopedic procedures. The best candidate suited for this position will want to pursue an interest in the community surrounding Piedmont Athens and also possess leadership skills to further develop the orthopedic program. This is a great opportunity to join the robust orthopedic department at our Oconee Health campus in Watkinsville that consist of excellently trained staff to include:

  • General orthopedics
  • Sports Medicine
  • Joint/Adult Reconstruction
  • Foot/Ankle Surgery
  • Hand Surgery
  • Trauma orthopedics surgery
