Orthopedic Total Joints Surgeon opening - Sioux City, IA Western Iowa - 90 miles from Omaha, NE; 150 miles from Des Moines Position Details

• Full-time, permanent Joint Orthopedic position
• Mix of outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care
• Average 16 patients per day
• Shared call 1:3, 10 days per month
• Full range of clinical services including fracture management, total hips & knees, upper & lower extremities, trigger finger & carpal tunnel release
• In-office procedures: injections, casting, suture removal, joint fluid withdrawal

• Hospital coverage at 184-bed Level 3 trauma center with ICU and hospitalist team
• Onsite Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation, full diagnostic lab, MRI, and CT

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Hold unrestricted Iowa medical license
• Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe/administer medications
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
