Orthopedic Total Joints Surgeon opening - Sioux City, IA Western Iowa - 90 miles from Omaha, NE; 150 miles from Des Moines Position Details
- Full-time, permanent Joint Orthopedic position
- Mix of outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care
- Average 16 patients per day
- Shared call 1:3, 10 days per month
- Full range of clinical services including fracture management, total hips & knees, upper & lower extremities, trigger finger & carpal tunnel release
- In-office procedures: injections, casting, suture removal, joint fluid withdrawal
- Opportunity to build sub-specialty interests
- Efficient, well-supported clinic with Multi-specialty ASC on campus with buy-in opportunity
- Hospital coverage at 184-bed Level 3 trauma center with ICU and hospitalist team
- Onsite Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation, full diagnostic lab, MRI, and CT
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR

- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Hold unrestricted Iowa medical license
- Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe/administer medications
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
