New Maxillofacial Surgery Physician Locums Job in Pennsylvania l September Start
Our client in Pennsylvania is searching for a GeneralOral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to provide ongoing supplemental coverage. This opportunity will complement anexisting 0.7 FTE Oral Surgeon and includes a mix of clinic, OR, facial traumacall, and inpatient consults.
Details/Requirements for Assignment #116196:
--Pennsylvania Medical License required
--Clinic approximately 14 patients per day
--Dedicated OR block time
--Required to do inpatient consults as needed
--Emergency Department consults required
--Weekend and after-hours facial trauma call
--Approximately 1:3 overnight call rotation
--Sole call coverage when assigned
--45-minute response time required for call
--Level I Trauma Center
--EMR: Epic
Schedule:
--7AM October 24-7AM November 6
--7AM December 21-7AM January 4
--The entire month of February
--The entire month of May
--The entire month of August
--Monday–Friday Clinic (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
--Rotating after hours call (5p - 8a)
--OR: Approximately 1 OR day per week with 4 cases per OR day
Clinical Procedures:
--Routine extractions, surgical extractions, and impacted third molar extractions
--Facial trauma management, including mandible, maxillary, orbital, and soft tissue injuries
--Infection management
Support Team:
--1 Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
--3 Dental Assistants
--Sedation RN currently being recruited
Qualifications:
--Board Certification required
--Active state license (or ability to obtain)
--Comfortable independently managing facial trauma, clinic, OR, and call responsibilities
