Dentist Opportunity – Community Health Center Setting
Location: Johnston, RI - Providence 9m, Boston 55m
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position (40 hours/week)
Position Highlights
* Provide comprehensive clinical dental services in an outpatient community health center
* Opportunity to supervise Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists in absence of Dental Director
* Perform exams, diagnose conditions, and deliver appropriate dental/oral treatments
* Utilize digital radiography and paperless charting preferred
* Provide patient education on oral health and disease prevention
* Participate in department committees and quality initiatives
* Assist with staff training, clinical policy development, and dental program planning
* Represent the organization at meetings and community events as needed
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations
* Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in QI activities including peer review

Qualifications
* Graduation from an accredited dental school
* Completion of general practice residency preferred
* Unrestricted Rhode Island dental license
* CPR (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred
* Rhode Island DPA and DEA registrations
* Medicare and Medicaid provider numbers
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of public health principles
* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
* Ability to maintain clinical privileges
* Bilingual skills a plus
