Pediatric Dentist opening in Salisbury, MD Annapolis, MD 88m; Baltimore, MD 117m Seeking an experienced Pediatric Dentist. * Full-time * Monday - Friday * Report to Chief Pediatric Dentist * Excellent benefits package included. Responsibilities * Oversee and assist the pediatric residents ensuring they are providing appropriate care to pediatric patients. * Diagnose and treat any disease, injury, malocclusion, or malposition of a tooth, gum, jaw, or structure associated with the head and neck as appropriate. * Provide oral health education to patients and families. * Establish rapport and identify patients chief complaints, general needs and expectations. * Knowledge to provide preventive, therapeutic and educational methods for controlling oral disease as an aid to patients. * Anticipate, diagnose, and provide treatment and follow-up management for dental treatment. * Practice within the scope of one s competence and make referrals to professional colleagues as appropriate. * Select, obtain, and interpret clinical, radiographic, and other diagnostic information and procedures. Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine. * Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry. * Current State of Maryland license, CDS, and DEA.
