Dentist opening in California * Located in *Blythe, CA* - 120 miles from Palm Springs and 150 miles from Phoenix * Full-time, permanent openig * Employed position * Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts * Provide quality comprehensive dental care for patients under general supervision of the Chief Dental Officer * Supervise the work of dental assistants * Performs related administrative and professional work as required * Spanish not required, but a plus Compensation & benefits: * Salary: $230k * Sign on bonus * Retention Bonus * Relocation Assistance * Housing Stipend for 6 month period * Great benefits & retirement plans * NHSC Loan Repayment Program * CME: 5 days & $2k * PTO: starts at 3 weeks and accrues **Duties:* *Level I: Palliative/Emergency Care* * Emergency procedures for the relief of pain * Replantation of avulsed tooth * Treatment for dental trauma * Surgical incision and drainage * Pulp therapy including pulpotomy * Administration of drugs * Prescriptions (including controlled) *Level II: Oral Health Education* * Oral hygiene education * Promoting the use of fluorides * Diet education * Dental trauma prevention * Tobacco hazard education * Baby bottle tooth decay prevention *Level III: Preventive Services* * Comprehensive dental examination * Screening for oral diseases * Prophylaxis (dental cleaning) * Scaling and root planing *Level IV: Basic Dental Restorative Services* * Amalgams * Composites * Crowns (PFM and SSC) * Routine extractions *Level V: Rehabilitative Dental Services* * Extractions (surgical, but on a limited basis) * Root canals (anterior and bicuspid teeth only) * Dentures and stayplates * Relines * Repair removable prostheses
