**Position Details:**_x000D_

- We are currently recruiting for a dentist to join our school based sites in Bridgeport, CT. _x000D_
- This position is part-time- 35 hours per week. - Join our team-based model of care delivered in a kind and compassionate manner._x000D_
- Largest provider of primary health care services in Fairfield County, proudly serving all patients regardless of their ability to pay. _x000D_
- Demonstrate competency in the assessment, range of treatment, knowledge of growth and development and communication appropriate to the age of the patient treated._x000D_
- Examine patients intraoral and perioral structures utilizing radiographs and other diagnostic materials._x000D_
- Diagnose dental disorders, including but not limited to those caused by disease, injury, genetics and environment._x000D_
- Determine etiology of dental diseases and disorders._x000D_
- Evaluate the effect of systemic disorders and pharmacologic treatment on dental conditions._x000D_
- Advise patients of treatment plan alternatives and options._x000D_
- Treat patients dental diseases and disorders to restore function and esthetics in a comprehensive manner._x000D_
- Provide patients with dental health education._x000D_
- Monitor patients treated in conjunction with the Dental Clinical Director._x000D_
- Practice infection control and employs the management plan to meet OSHA, CDC, ADA and JCAHO standards._x000D_
- Consult with the Dental Clinical Director on referral and other matters pertaining to dental health services._x000D_

**Job Qualifications/Requirements:**_x000D_
_x000D_
- Education: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school._x000D_
- Licensure/Certification: Current Connecticut Dental License, current Drug Enforcement Act (DEA) license, current Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Controlled Substance license, CPR certification required upon hire and recertification bi-annually._x000D_
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience. Background in a fast paced clinical setting recommended. Familiarity with tele-medicine and prior experience a plus._x000D_
- Language: Bi-Lingual English / Spanish a plus _x000D_
