      Description: Hiring a Comprehensive Ophthalmology Physician with a Uveitis Subspecialty for a top academic medical center in New York City. The ideal candidate will be a Board-eligible or Board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist ready to join their full-time faculty.       Responsibilities:



      • Provide comprehensive exams, laser, medical, and surgical care for all types of conditions of the eye and surrounding structures.
      • Responsible for ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests, as well as provide detailed treatment plans.
      • Engage in teaching, research and service.
      • Provide medical and surgical care including consult and emergency services
      • Train residents and medical students
      • Make academic and research contributions

      Educational Requirements:



      • Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of New York
      • Board-eligible/certified in comprehensive ophthalmology
      • Subspecialty in Uveitis

      Experience Requirements:



      • Significant surgical experience, and must be able to oversee and educate ophthalmology residents clinically and surgically.
