Clinical Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and manage patients with corneal and anterior segment disorders
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medical and surgical interventions
• Perform surgical procedures, including corneal transplants, cataract surgery, and other anterior segment surgeries
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR)
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Required Qualifications:
• MD or DO with Board Certification in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship training in Cornea/Anterior Segment preferred
• Active medical license in California
• Proven experience managing complex corneal and anterior segment patients
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
