Job description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our growing healthcare network. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions, providing comprehensive eye care, and performing surgical procedures when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat eye diseases and vision problems Perform comprehensive eye examinations Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, or contact lenses as needed Perform surgical procedures related to eye conditions (if applicable) Provide patient education on eye health and preventive care Maintain accurate medical records in the EMR system Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists within our networkQualifications:
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology
- Valid Georgia medical license or ability to obtain one
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
