Job description Join Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as an Ophthalmologist, Cornea Specialist Physician in Winston- Salem, North Carolina—part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country.

The Department of Ophthalmology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained Cornea Specialist to join our growing academic team. This faculty position offers an exceptional opportunity to combine clinical excellence, teaching, and research in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As a Cornea Specialist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, you will:
  • Provide advanced medical and surgical care for corneal and external eye diseases
  • Participate in the education and mentorship of residents and fellows in our robust training programs
  • Engage in research initiatives tailored to your interests, with institutional support for academic advancement

Requirements:
  • MD or MD/PhD
  • Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology
  • Completion of fellowship training in surgical cornea glaucoma
  • North Carolina unrestricted medical licensure or eligible
  • Active DEA in North Carolina
