As a Cornea Specialist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, you will:
- Provide advanced medical and surgical care for corneal and external eye diseases
- Participate in the education and mentorship of residents and fellows in our robust training programs
- Engage in research initiatives tailored to your interests, with institutional support for academic advancement
- A $100M, 165,000 sq. ft. standalone Eye Institute is opening in 2026 in Winston-Salem’s Innovation Quarter.
- The four-story facility will house all eye services, surgical suites, research, and clinical trials—supporting 100,000+ patient visits annually.

- MD or MD/PhD
- Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology
- Completion of fellowship training in surgical cornea glaucoma
- North Carolina unrestricted medical licensure or eligible
- Active DEA in North Carolina
