Description
A busy clinic is seeking an ophthalmology physician to provide locum tenens coverage. The role includes clinic visits and surgical procedures with no call, and a preference for a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule.
- Location: Northwest Michigan
- Status: Active
- Specialty: Ophthalmology, MD/DO
- Position Type: Locum tenens, full-time
- Certification Requirements: Board Certified in Ophthalmology
- License Requirements: Michigan license or IMLC required
- Patient Volume: 20 patients per day
- Setting: Level II trauma center
- Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Two weeks on / two weeks off preferred
- Support Staff:
- Two medical assistants
- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Clinic visits
- Surgical procedures
- Injections
- Experience Requirements:
- Must be able to perform 12–14 procedures/surgeries per day
- Minimum four clinic patients per hour
- EMR: EPIC
- Dates: Starting June 27, 2025 – ongoing
- Call: No call
