We are seeking a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist to provide coverage at a well-supported Level II Trauma Center in Alaska. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and surgical cases, with a strong clinical team and travel accommodations available.

Position Overview

  • Practice Setting: Clinic and Operating Room

  • Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Credentialing Timeframe: 6โ€“8 weeks

  • Coverage Months: April, May, and June

  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Required

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Outpatient clinic visits

  • Inpatient consults

  • Surgical cases with a strong focus on cataract surgery (primary need)

Support

  • Dedicated team of 8 support staff members

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Ophthalmology

  • Active Alaska license (or ability to obtain)

  • COVID-19 vaccination required
