๐ฐ $404,280 โ $424,500 annually
Join a physician-led, collaborative team providing advanced corneal care in a supportive, integrated multispecialty environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Diagnose and treat corneal and external eye diseases including keratoconus, corneal dystrophies, dry eye, infectious keratitis, and ocular surface disorders
-
Perform corneal and anterior segment surgeries such as cataract surgery and corneal transplants (DMEK, DSAEK, PKP)
-
Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
-
Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and subspecialists for coordinated care
-
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and electronic medical records
-
Educate patients on treatment options, surgical outcomes, and long-term eye health
-
Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based clinical practice
Qualifications:
-
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
-
Completion of ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency
-
Fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
-
Eligible for or able to obtain California medical license
-
Strong surgical skills and patient-centered communication
