🩺 Key Responsibilities

As a Corneal Ophthalmologist, you will:

• Diagnose, manage, and treat corneal diseases and disorders

• Perform corneal procedures including keratoplasty, refractive surgery co-management, and related surgical interventions

• Manage complex corneal conditions and collaborate on treatment planning

• Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up care

• Interpret diagnostic testing such as topography, OCT, and corneal imaging

• Educate patients on disease progression, surgery options, and preventive care

• Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and ancillary care teams

✅ Ideal Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from accredited medical school

• Completed Ophthalmology residency (required)

• Fellowship training in Cornea (preferred)

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology

• Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)

• DEA license (or ability to obtain)

• Strong surgical and clinical skills
