๐ Role Summary:
As an Oculoplastic Surgeon in the Tampa Bay area, you would join an established ophthalmology practice or eye institute focused on delivering high-quality surgical and clinical care for conditions affecting the eyelids, orbit (eye socket), tear ducts, and adjacent facial structures.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat oculoplastic conditions such as eyelid malpositions, tear duct disorders, orbital issues, and facial trauma.

Perform surgical procedures, especially functional and cosmetic eyelid surgeries, blepharoplasty, and related reconstructive operations.

Conduct comprehensive eye exams focused on oculoplastic patients.

Manage pre- and post-operative care including surgeon follow-up and patient education.

Advise patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, and post-surgical care.

Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary eye care teams (optometry, general ophthalmology, anesthesiology, etc.) for coordinated care.
๐ Qualifications & Requirements:

Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an ophthalmology residency.

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology (preferred).

Fellowship training in Oculoplastic or Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery strongly preferred.

Active or eligible for a Florida medical license to practice.

Excellent surgical skills, strong communication, and patient-care orientation.
