We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Doctor of Optometry (OD) to join our growing practice in a beautiful coastal Oregon community. This role offers the opportunity to practice full-scope medical optometry while building a personalized clinical niche in a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll work alongside experienced optometrists and a highly trained support team, with access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technology and long-term growth potential, including ownership opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
Prescribe and fit contact lenses, including specialty and medically necessary lenses
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment such as OCT, corneal topography, widefield retinal imaging, and IPL
Develop and grow a clinical niche based on interest and expertise (medical optometry, pediatrics, vision therapy, ocular aesthetics, etc.)
Collaborate closely with other optometrists, ophthalmologists (as needed), and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Educate patients on ocular health, treatment plans, and preventative care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with clinical standards
Qualifications
• Active or eligible Oregon OD license
• Passion for medical optometry and long-term practice growth
