We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Optometrist to provide high-quality, comprehensive eye care in a collaborative healthcare setting. Job Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care, case management, and clinical consultations
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff for coordinated care and referrals
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences
Assist in training and supporting opticians and essential staff
Educate patients and families on eye health, prevention, and maintenance
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, standards of care, and clinical protocols
Qualifications
Active Michigan Optometry License (or eligible for licensure)
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
Strong clinical judgment and patient advocacy skills
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Interest in training, education, and continuous professional development
