We are hiring for a reputable, physician-led ophthalmology group in Northern Nevada is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join their growing practice.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Target Compensation: $250,000–$275,000 annually
- Bonus Structure: Net patient collections + Individual productivity bonus
- Employment Type: 1099 Contractor
- Vacation/PTO: 25 days
- Relocation Assistance: Yes
- Retirement Plan: No 401(k) contribution at this time
Practice Setting:
- Ownership: Private Equity–backed, multi-specialty ophthalmology group
- EMR: ModMed (Practice Management: NextGen)
- ASC Onsite: Yes
- Support Staff: Technician + Scribe (scales with volume)
- Current Staff: 4 MDs, 1 OD
- OD Patient Volume Expectation: 28–35 patients/day
- Practice Volume: 30–40 VPD

Qualifications:
- OD Degree (Doctor of Optometry)
- Residency training required (preferably in ocular disease) if a new graduate
- Interest in medical optometry and working in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Desire to work closely with ophthalmologists and be actively involved in co-management
