Start date or shifts: ASAP – ongoing; flexible scheduling
Types of procedures: Comprehensive eye exams including visual acuity, refraction, visual fields, pupillary, motility, extraocular muscle testing, slit-lamp, and fundus exams; documentation of eye diseases or trauma such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy
Ages: Adult Veterans
Requirements: Active, unrestricted medical license; strong clinical examination and documentation skills
Additional information: Structured, exam-only visits; completion of VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs); meaningful work serving U.S. Veterans; evaluation-only; no call, no treatment, no after-hours responsibilities.
Benefits: Malpractice insurance coverage; weekly electronic pay; potential travel and lodging benefits; earn $2,000 per referral.
