Job description
Locum ophthalmology coverage needed. Provider must be able to take call, perform intravitreal injections for retinal conditions, cataract surgery, and manage trauma cases.
Dates Needed:
- September 7, 2025 – September 13, 2025 (8 AM – 8 AM.
- November 30, 2025 – December 7, 2025 (8 AM – 8 AM).
$1900/24 hour call (3 hours gratis)
Callback rate -- $300/hour call
Job Responsibilities
• Take 24-hour call coverage (weekends and weekdays as scheduled)
• Perform intravitreal injections, especially for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy
• Perform cataract surgeries and manage trauma cases
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation (Epic system)
Qualifications
• Must demonstrate at least 60 cases (case logs) in the past year
• Must have the ability and experience to perform intravitreal injections for retinal conditions
• Active state medical license (IMLC with LOQ acceptable)
• Active DEA license
Working Hours
• Call Coverage: 24-hour call on weekends (7 AM – 7 AM), weekday pager coverage while in clinic
Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
