Cornea, Cataract & Refractive Surgeon Opportunity
A respected, multi-specialty healthcare system in the Upper Midwest is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Corneal, Cataract, and Refractive Surgeon to assume an established and thriving practice. This position offers the opportunity to join a collegial team in a full-service ophthalmology department equipped with the latest technology and a broad range of subspecialties.
Position Highlights:
* Well-Established Practice:
Take over a high-volume, well-supported practice from a departing physician. Enjoy a robust referral network and a wide variety of surgical and clinical cases.
* Comprehensive Surgical Focus:
Ideal candidates will have interest and experience in:
* Corneal surgery (including corneal crosslinking)
* Complex cataracts
* Refractive procedures (including LASIK and PRK)
* Collaborative Team Environment:
Join a multidisciplinary team of board-certified ophthalmologists and subspecialists, including glaucoma, retina, pediatrics, and oculoplastics. Supported by optometrists, certified technicians, low vision specialists, contact lens experts, and on-site opticians.
* Shared Call Schedule:
Light 1:10 call rotation shared among a team of experienced ophthalmologists.
* Advanced Equipment:
Practice in a state-of-the-art setting with access to the latest diagnostic and surgical technology.
Professional Expectations:
* Must have completed an accredited residency program in ophthalmology.
* Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
* Must be eligible for medical licensure in the organization's multi-state service region.
* Expected to supervise and collaborate with advanced practice clinicians.
* Outreach and regional patient care responsibilities may be included.
* Teaching of residents, fellows, medical students, and clinical staff is highly encouraged and supported.
