General/Pediatric Ophthalmology opening in NY Opportunity in Cooperstown, NY Albany 75m Syracuse 80m Full Time Permanent Position Combined General & Pediatric Fellowship in Surgical Retina Academically Affiliated Group Overview: - Brand new eye clinic is being constructed and is expected to open in late 2024/early 2025 - Current need is for high volume cataract surgeon who can also perform pediatric eye surgery - Current group has pediatric, retina, glaucoma, and cornea specialists - Support staff consists of ophthalmic technicians, LPNs, and RNs and are well trained - On call is every 6th weekend, from Cooperstown, and rarely busy - Outreach clinics are attended by all ophthalmologists but are limited to only one location each - There is no NICU coverage required - Referral patterns to tertiary care ophthalmologists are well established.
