Job Responsibilities

Join a leading East Coast eye care group in a vibrant port city, renowned for 60 years of top-tier referral eye care. This prestigious practice, highly regarded nationally and internationally for its surgical and research excellence, presents an exciting opportunity for a Cornea specialist. The incoming physician will handle a significant surgical volume, focusing on Cornea and cataract surgeries, including 100 grafts (PKP and DSEK/DMEK), 1-3 ulcers weekly, external disease, second opinions, ocular surface disease, uveitis, secondary glaucoma, and monthly anterior segment reconstructions. Refractive surgeons specializing in Cornea are encouraged to apply. The team comprises 17 MDs covering adult sub-specialties, with a need for a Cornea specialist, creating a busy environment with a robust patient population and pathology. Enjoy a strong referral network, state-of-the-art equipment, and a world-class staff. Surgical cases are performed in a cutting-edge ophthalmic-only ASC with five rooms, and the practice supports clinical research, offering extensive opportunities for interested individuals.

Qualifications

โ€ข MD or DO degree with board certification in Ophthalmology.
โ€ข Completion of accredited Cornea fellowship.
โ€ข Proficiency in corneal surgeries, including transplants and anterior segment reconstructions.
