**Radiation Oncology Opening in Las Cruces, NM**

We are seeking an energetic Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to fill a full time position on our team of dedicated cancer-care providers in culturally rich historic Las Cruces, New Mexico. The position offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.

The successful hire will be one of 2 radiation oncologists staffing a singularly located state of the art cancer center offering a full range of adult radiotherapeutic care including techniques such as linac-based SRS and SBRT, IMRT, and HDR brachytherapy. We recently completed a multi-million dollar expansion and renovation with installation of a state of the art Varian True Beam Edge linear accelerator, to go along with a recently upgraded TomoTherapy unit, and VariSource IX HDR Brachytherapy. EMR is Mosaiq with Aria Island to support advanced True Beam functionality. The clinic is staffed with 2 full time dosimetrists, 2 full time physicists, 6.5 full time radiation therapists, 2 full time registered nurses, and a full time manager who oversees day to day clinic functions. The clinic averages 400 new patients a year. The Memorial Cancer Program is the only ACR and ACOS/ COC certified program in southern New Mexico.
The cancer center is a comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer center with a three-fold mission of healing, education and discovery. We are unique in the region as the only cancer program with an NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. We maintain a vibrant clinical research program with two research nurses overseeing a clinical trials portfolio of approximately 20-30 studies at any time. Additionally our cancer care providers are expected to participate in the on-site multidisciplinary Breast Tumor and General Tumor conferences, both occurring twice monthly.
