Physician - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
Coverage needed December 21-23 and December 28-31 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch breakCenter operates two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and one CT simulator
Average daily patient census of approximately 30 patients per shift
Responsibilities include new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, on-treatment visits, and verification simulations
Current staffing support includes 3 Radiation Therapists, 1 Dosimetrist, 1 Physicist, and 1 Nurse
Board certification required at minimum certified level
BLS certification required
Required External Beam Therapy skills include Linear Accelerator, RapidArc/VMAT, and Electrons
Required techniques include Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and Hyper Altered Fractionation
Required treatment planning skills include Conventional Treatment Planning, Beam Shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, and Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)
