Med Ninjas is seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician for long term locum tenens coverage at an inpatient facility located in Lebanon, PA.
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from 11/30/2026 to 10/01/2027.
This assignment includes hospital coverage, monitoring the linear accelerator machine, managing emergent situations, occasional follow-up care, and no new patient consultations.
Locum Tenens Radiation Oncology Physician
Shift: Weekdays, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
Start Date: 11/30/2026
End Date: 10/01/2027
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults, 18+
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Monitor the linear accelerator machine, manage emergent situations, and provide occasional follow-up care; no new patients
Required Procedures: Linear accelerator monitoring and radiation oncology coverage
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Nurse, 2–3 therapists, physicist, and dosimetrist
Days Per Month: Flexible vacation coverage; 1–2 days here and there plus vacation coverage
On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekday coverage only
Required Procedures and Skills
- Radiation Oncology
- Linear accelerator monitoring
- Management of emergent situations
- Occasional follow-up care
- EPIC charting
Requirements
- BC/BE in Radiation Oncology
- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ in hand
- DEA required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Drive-in required
