Are you a Radiation Oncology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Pennsylvania might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: October 12-16, 2026 and December 28-31, 2026. Regular on-site hours: Monday-Friday, 0700-1500. No on-call requirement.
- Job Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
- Types of Cases: New patient consults, follow-up visits, treatment planning for new patients, on-treatment weekly visits (OTV), inpatient rounding/consultations. Provider oversees scheduled radiation treatments and sees patients in office as needed. Physician must be on-site during radiation treatments. Specialty skills include Brachytherapy (Intracavitary, Interstitial, Vascular/Endovascular, LDR, HDR), External Beam Therapy (Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons, Tomotherapy, Superficial/Orthovoltage), and Techniques including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS (CyberKnife, Gamma Knife), IORT, TBI, TSE, Hyper Altered Fractionation, and Treatment Planning (Conventional, MLC Beam Shaping, 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT/MRI Image Fusion, EPI, Clinical Trials).
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 10 days. Temporary privileges available. Hospital privileges required.
- EMR System: Epic
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required
- Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS
- Licensure: Licensed in PA or IMLC eligible
