Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

Provide on-site Radiation Oncology coverage during scheduled dates
Regular daytime hours on-site from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays
See patients in office as needed
Oversee scheduled radiation treatments with required on-site presence during treatments
Round and consult on inpatients as needed
Document all patient contact hours
See new consults, follow-up visits, treatment planning for new patients, and on-treatment weekly visits (OTV)
After-hours emergency consultations are rarely required (approximately once or twice per year) with no formal on-call requirement
Board certification required with minimum board certification eligibility accepted
Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS
Experience with Brachytherapy techniques including intracavitary, interstitial, and vascular/endovascular procedures preferred
Experience with External Beam Therapy (EBRT) including linear accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, electrons, and tomotherapy preferred
Proficiency in advanced techniques including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and intraoperative radiation therapy preferred
Treatment planning experience including 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI image fusion, and electronic portal imaging preferred
