Radiation Oncology Coverage

Dates:
December 28-31

Please note provider must be on-site during the hours and dates above.

Regular Hours onsite:
Inpatient Consultation weekdays 0700 to 1500.
This is regular daylight in-house duties

Provider sees pts in office if need exists
Provider oversees scheduled radiation treatments
Provider may be called to round/consult on inpatients

*Physician is required to be on-site while providing radiation treatments.

On call/afterhours:
Not required. There is a chance that an ER or Apogee physician could ask for an emergent consultation to receive a radiation treatment after hours or on a weekend. This occurs maybe once or twice a year. There is no on call requirement/callback required beyond the rarely outlined above.

Documentation of Patient Contact Hours.

Physicians are required to see new consults, follow up visits, treatment planning for new patients and OTV (on treatment weekly visits).
