Unlock an exceptional locum tenens engagement along the New Jersey coastline. We are seeking a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist (MD/DO) for an ongoing assignment starting October 1, 2026. Designed for physicians seeking a balance of outpatient clinical focus and cutting-edge radiation medicine, this position offers an ideal practice framework: standard weekday clinic hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), strong departmental support, and minimal to no call burden.
The Practice Experience
Step into a highly respected community-hospital Radiation Oncology practice, delivering comprehensive radiation therapy across active-treatment, consult, and follow-up patient panels.

Advanced Clinical Scope: Direct comprehensive radiation oncology care utilizing state-of-the-art treatment platforms:

Manage a steady clinical panel (~20–25 active-treatment patients per provider; 8–10 consults and ~30 follow-up visits weekly)

Deliver expert radiation planning and treatment using SBRT, IMRT, IGRT, 3D treatment, and HDR Brachytherapy (skin, prostate, and gyn onc)

Perform OR-based brachytherapy procedures approximately 2 to 3 days per month

Utilize Aria/Eclipse for radiation treatment planning and Epic EMR for outpatient clinical care

Schedule & Lifestyle Advantage: Standard Monday through Friday schedule (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) covering 5 outpatient clinic days weekly.

Support & Technology: Collaborative, full-scope team including dedicated RNs, clerical support, Radiation Therapists, Physicists, and Dosimetrists. Advanced tech suite featuring Accuray Tomotherapy and Elekta Versa HD.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled, patient-focused Radiation Oncologist dedicated to clinical excellence and advanced radio-therapeutic care.

Credentials & Education: MD or DO degree; Board Certification in Radiation Oncology is required.

Licensure: Active, unencumbered New Jersey State Medical License.
