Locum | Radiation Oncologist | Grand Forks, ND

Details

  • Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing Coverage

Overview

  • Patient Population: Adult Oncology Patients
  • Practice Setting: Outpatient Cancer Center/Clinic
  • Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care, evaluate and treat oncology patients, develop radiation treatment plans, oversee treatment delivery, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Required Procedures: General Radiation Oncology procedures and treatment planning using Tomotherapy, Radixact, and Varian Linear Accelerator (transitioning September 2026).
  • EMR System: Epic (Mosaic transitioning to Aria in September 2026)
  • Support Staff: Two Physicists, Two Dosimetrists, Four Radiation Therapists, One Radiation Oncology APP, One Nurse, and One Patient Access Coordinator.
  • Coverage Needed: Provider must be able to consistently provide at least two weeks of coverage per month. Ongoing coverage beginning in August (excluding September 14–25, which is already covered internally).
  • Call Requirements: No Call

Requirements

  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (Required)
  • Active North Dakota Medical License or IMLC with transferable DEA (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 Years of Clinical Experience (Required)
  • Ability to provide at least two weeks of coverage per month (Required)
