Great short-term locum opportunity in Potsdam, NY 🌆 for a Radiation Oncologist to provide coverage in an acute care setting. Work alongside a supportive oncology team delivering high-quality cancer care using advanced treatment techniques.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and diagnose cancer patients and determine appropriate radiation therapy plans 🩺
• Develop and administer personalized radiation treatment protocols
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams 🤝
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Qualifications
• MD/DO with board eligibility in Radiation Oncology
• Active New York medical license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication and patient care skills
Working Hours
3-Day Coverage (Week of May 18) ⏰
Shift Options: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
(No call required)
