Job description
is seeking two dedicated Radiation Oncologists to provide full-time locum coverage in Muskegon, MI. This role involves managing a shared patient load in a free-standing cancer center, overseeing radiation plans, and maintaining daily clinical operations alongside an internal physician and NP support.
-Schedule: Days; Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
-Location: Muskegon, MI.
-Team: 2 Physicians and 1 NP for clinic support.
-Charting: Aria & Epic EMR.
Job Responsibilities
-Execute and oversee radiation plans: Conventional, 3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT, SRS, SBRT, and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy.
-Manage an average outpatient clinic volume of 10–15 patients per day.
-Join a 1:2 shared 24-hour call rotation with one other physician.
-Order necessary tests, imaging, and prescriptions to support daily clinical operations.
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Michigan State License or IMLC/LOQ [REQUIRED].
-Certifications: Current BLS [REQUIRED].
-Credentialing: Clean Malpractice/Background; Self-Query NPDB pulled within the month [REQUIRED] at time of presentation.
Working Hours
-On-Call: 24-hour shared rotation (1:2).
Skills
-Experience with Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Radiosurgery (SRS).
-Strong collaborative skills to share patient loads and oversee complex radiation plans.
